Lo importante es resaltar que a diferencia de lo que algunas y algunos J-pop fans piensan, el wotagei está siendo revalorado en Japón de una manera positiva, al grado de que hay televisoras que invitan grandes personalidades como Shingo para realizar wotagei a una Idol tipo Moe, Maido de Akihabara, y que además de todo, es prácticamente otaku... XD
Esto es lo loco del wotagei: muchas veces un wotageishi se rebaja y adora a una Idol que ni siquiera tiene el status social para ser grande... XD
